Bake Sale Preview!!

Tomorrow is our bake sale to raise funds for Covenant House to celebrate Jinger Hoop's life.  I'm so looking forward to it.  Thank you to everyone for supporting this wonderful cause!  Bring your $$ for lots of tasty treats!  Mrs. Chrystall has been baking Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes all night!  I hope your sweet tooth is ready!  Here's the recipe if you're interested!  See everyone Friday after school :)

Celebrate & Remember

On Friday, May 1st, Mann School will have a $1 Crazy Hair Day and a Bake Sale on the school blacktop after school to support Covenant House,  an organization that serves underprivileged and homeless children around the world.

The Crazy Hair Day and Bake Sale will be to celebrate and remember Dr. Jinger Hoop, mother of Luis Daniel, a fourth grader at Horace Mann Elementary School. Dr. Hoop was a superb psychiatrist, generous teacher, loving mother, wife and friend to many.  All funds from the events will be donated to Covenant House in her memory.  Please click HERE to read more about Jinger's charity and to donate online.

4th Grade:

Reading #1: Monday, March 9th

Reading #2: Thursday, March 12th

Reading #3: Friday, March 13th

Math #1: Monday, March 16th

Math #2: Wednesday, March 18th

4th Grade Spelling Bee

Congratulations to all the 4th graders who participated in the Spelling Bee and especially the winner, Nick! It takes much effort combined with courage to enter a spelling bee. "Bee" proud of yourselves!
